It also has low heat retention and is perfect for grinding, sanding and finishing. Our disc with aluminium oxide is suitable for use on a wide variety of substrates in woodworking and metalworking, including ferrous alloys. Scotch-Brite industrial abrasives are unique surface conditioning products featuring abrasives blended into non-woven nylon or synthetic fibres. Combining abrasives with fibres in this way creates an abrasive system offering consistent results for the entire product lifespan.
