Use Scotch-Brite™ Roloc™ High Strength Disc for cleaning, deburring and creating a professional satin finish. Our disc is made of a durable, tough, open-web material. It uses aluminium oxide –a tough and lasting mineral, in medium grade coarseness. The mineral cuts sharp helping to reduce the time taken, while extending the disc life. It can help to lower abrasive costs while increasing productivity. Our disc is conformable and durable, resisting loading and offering a fast cut and good, consistent finish on all kinds of surfaces. The disc works well on flat or irregular surfaces, without damaging or altering the substrate or work piece. Use Roloc high strength disc instead of wire wheels or scrapers, for reaching into tight spots. It can be used with a disc sander or die grinder for easier working than with a manual scraper. Aluminium oxide offers a long life and superior cut rate. It’s a tough, durable abrasive. In use, it continually self-fractures to expose fresh cutting edges, compared to traditional abrasives, such as garnet, which quickly wear down with use. It’s a good choice in grinding applications, for a fast cut-rate, hardness, strength, and low heat retention. Aluminium oxide is suitable for use on a wide variety of substrates in both woodworking and metalworking, including ferrous alloys. 3M™ Roloc products make fast, easy light work of disc change out between steps on portable tools. Roloc TR quick change discs are smaller discs that have a plastic threaded button or screw designed to easily and quickly screw onto a 3M Roloc TR Disc Pad* so that operators can conveniently change discs with a simple twist-off, twist-on action. 3M Roloc discs are also available with a TSM metal button.
