When should the stroke be set?
- If a blind rivet nut size with the same length is set in consistent material thicknesses, you should work with a constant setting stroke.
- The setting stroke corresponds to the distance that the threaded mandrel is drawn into the nose piece during the setting process and thus how far the blind rivet nut is upset.
- When setting the setting stroke, this distance can be mechanically adjusted on the setting tool.
- Controlling the tool by setting stroke adjustment guarantees a constant height of the blind rivet nut after setting, regardless of minor variations in the nut or material
- Infinitely variable setting of the setting stroke
- Setting stroke adjustment is preferred above all by experienced users and for large-scale production
- Sets blind rivet nuts up to M10 aluminium, up to M8 steel and up to M6 stainless steel.
