ANSMANN chargers with GaN technology
Silicon-based electronics have been the norm since the 1970s and have rapidly become increasingly powerful. “Moore’s Law” predicted that the performance of silicon-based transistors would double approximately every 18 months, which held true for a long time. This technology has now reached a performance limit beyond which it cannot become much more efficient, and is being replaced by GaN technology.
“GaN” stands for gallium nitride, a semiconductor technology capable of conducting high electrical currents whilst generating little heat. This means, for example, that high-power USB chargers can be produced in significantly smaller sizes.

Feature:

Charging logs: PPS, Quick Charge 3.0, Power Delivery profile 3
Functions: Overcurrent protection, short-circuit protection, temperature monitoring
Output voltage: 5 – 20V DC
Consumption in standby: 0.23 watts
Average operational efficiency: 83.1%
Max. output power: 65 watts
Max. output current: 3 A
