The Quick Latch Drop Down mechanism makes it easy to put on or take off the masks as you move between safe or contaminated areas. That means you won’t need to remove your safety helmet or face shield when lowering or raising your respirator. The low-profile, half-facepiece design offers a wider field of view and better compatibility with welding and grinding shields. The adjustable head harness assembly improves comfort, and it fits well with our hardhats and hearing protection. The bayonet-style connection fits a broad range of filters, offering protection against gases, vapours and particulates. The 3M™ Cool Flow™ Valve provides easier breathing by helping reduce heat build up, and an exhalation valve cover helps direct exhaled breath and moisture downward to reduce fogging in your eyewear, grinding or welding shields. It can be used with 3M™ Supplied Air Systems for your increased convenience and flexibility, and connects with all 3M™ 2000, 5000 and 6000 Series filters (except 3M™ 6098 or 6099).
