SIMPLEX sledge hammer, Rubber composition / superplastic; with cast iron housing and Hickory handle , D=100 mm

The SIMPLEX soft-face hammer from the 3027 series with the rubber compound/superplastic insert combination is an indispensable tool for a wide range of applications and the best-selling combination from Halder, which is why it is also available as a sledgehammer in three versions.: The smaller version with a head diameter of D60 mm, a total weight of 1,810 g and a total length of 70 cm, as well as with a head diameter of D80 mm, a total weight of 3,170 g and a total length of 80 cm (also available with rubber insert and stand). In the larger version with a head diameter of D100mm, a total weight of 5,350g and a total length of 100cm.
The medium-hard rubber insert (series 3202) is very wear-resistant, shock-absorbing and odourless, and lasts many times longer than a conventional rubber hammer.
The superplastic insert (series 3207) enables a higher impact force than the rubber insert. It is a medium-hard plastic insert made of extruded, extremely homogeneous material. Compared to moulded plastic inserts, it is significantly more wear-resistant and durable.
The malleable cast iron housing has an integrated handle protection sleeve, which ensures high break resistance.
The long-fibre, very stable hickory handle is varnished and ergonomically shaped.
In accordance with the clever SIMPLEX principle, all components are interchangeable and can be retrofitted. This not only saves money, but also conserves resources.
