3M ™ 5959 masking tape comes off neatly on most surfaces, as its adhesive surface is a unique blend of natural rubber and synthetic adhesive. The tape is ideal for applications in the construction industry as well as the boat and shipbuilding industry and other applications, such as trimming and plastering paint surfaces outdoors. The structure of the tape corresponds to the structure of air conditioning tapes for industrial use, so it is well suited for sealing, fastening, bundling, marking and protection. The tape comes off neatly without leaving traces and it withstands very demanding trimming applications, eg in exterior coating applications. The smooth, red polyethylene backing is easy to identify and protects the surfaces below from UV radiation and abrasion.
