Terminology:
- The setting head is the part of the blind rivet nut that rests on the visible side of the component. Users can choose from the following variants:
- Flat head - for a large contact area on the component
- Small head - for a minimal projection of the blind rivet nut and thus an almost flat contact surface of the assembly part
- Countersunk head - for flat surfaces with countersunk holes
- The shaft is the part of the blind rivet nut that deforms during the setting process and fixes the blind rivet nut in the component. This creates the so-called closing head. The user can choose from the following variants:: round, knurled or polygonal (hexagonal or square).
- The material: The customer can obtain the blind rivet nut made of steel, aluminium or stainless steel (A2, A4) depending on the application.
- The thread: As standard, the blind rivet nuts are equipped with metric threads, with the steel blind rivet nuts meeting the requirements of property class 8.8. Other dimensions, such as imperial or coarse threads, are available on request.
