High performance thread rolling dies
Boss pattern, Adjustable design (6g, 6e, 6h)
ISO metric trhead DIN 13
Specification: heavy duty, for highest pitch and profile accuracy nitrided thread rolls with lead profile
JBO thread rolling dies are suitable for materials that can be cold formed and that have a minimum elongation of approx. 8% coupled with a tensile strength up to approx. 900 N/mm²
Normal die stocks
These thread rolling dies are mounted in normal die stocks like DIN EN 22568.
Reversible thread rolls
The thread rolls are retained axially by circlips. If, after prolonged use, the thread rolls have become worn on one side, then the rolls can be reversed after the circlips have been pushed off radially, e.g. with a crew driver.
Spare sets of thread rolls suppliable
Spare sets of thread rolls can be supplied to replace worn sets. The new rolls have to be fitted in the correct sequence. Roll no. 1 has to be fitted into the shallowest recess in the face of the die body. The remaining dies are fitted clockwise.
