Made of aged special steel. Hardened with slightly bevelled edges. Lapped measuring faces. (HRC 64 - 66) The test certificate (factory calibration certificate) lists the actual deviations from nominal dimensions in addition to the test conditions for every gauge block. The exact actual size is therefore known. The link to national standards is given by traceability to DKD or PTB reference sets. Length tolerances (up to 100 mm in length) see No. 480200 − 480300.
