Collets with secuRgrip® have a contour similar to a thread in the clamping bore. By inserting the threaded insert into the ground HB flat (Weldon) of the milling cutter, the combination of milling cutter + threaded insert can be screwed in the collet, thus preventing the tool pulling out.

Application:
The secuRgrip® system transforms a conventional collet chuck into a chuck with pull-out protection, whilst retaining the advantages of the flexible ER collet system.
First, click the collet into the clamping nut. Then screw in the milling cutter to the desired length (if not already done: the length adjustment screw must lightly lie against the milling cutter).

Note:
Only clamps the nominal diameter. Ensure correct seating in the collet chuck: if used, for example, in ultra-short collet chucks, remove the length compensation disc on the underside of the collet if necessary.
