3M™ Heat Shrink Telecommunications Connection and Branching Set FVAM is suitable for all filled and unfilled telecommunications and signal cables without compressed air monitoring. The set complies with the “Technical Delivery Conditions of Deutsche Telekom AG”. The protective insert supplied serves as a water vapor barrier as well as to protect the cable splice from excessive heat and for mechanical protection. A coating with temperature indicator color on the outside of the sleeve indicates the completion of the shrinking process by a color change. A stainless locking rail prevents the sleeve from opening or distorting when shrinking. The scope of delivery of the connection and branch set includes a heat-shrinkable sleeve with temperature indicator paint, locking rail, protective insert, shield connector and connection cable, cable cleaning cloth, emery cloth and the assembly instructions. A branch system is not included in the scope of delivery.
