They are especially suited for tacking thin materials where the spine of the staple is not to be pressed into the material. Furthermore, these staples have a narrow crown so they are able to penetrate deeply and provide a firm seating with an unobtrusive staple back. They are for performing both do-it-yourself and professional applications on, e.g., textiles cardboard, flat wooden slats and woven wire.
