Description:
PFERD special files are tools that are optimized for specific uses, e.g. for processing soft metals or thermosetting plastics, for deburring parts turned on a lathe or for sharpening cutting tools. Rectangular file with different milled cuts, tanged and with ergonomic file handle. Straight cut with chip breaker on front side, radial cut on back side, uncut edges. Suitable for various materials and for resinoid fillers or wood containing nails as well as steels up to 1,200 N/mm² and cast steel or for work on soldered seams. Combination of a radial cut on one side for coarse stock removal, roughing and achieving score-free surfaces, and a straight cut on the other side for general roughing and finishing tasks. Files are supplied in point-of-sale packaging with ergonomic file handle.
