- The product is flame-resistant cotton work clothing that can be used for general work activities and for welding processes.
- It protects against the identified welding hazards, including flames, splashes of molten material, radiant heat and short-term electric shock, and not against long-term high voltages.
- These may be caused by welding and cutting systems.
- Observe the safety instructions for the welding machines being used.
- In the event of an increased risk of electric shock or from live parts, additional electrical insulation is required, as specified in EN ISO 11611 for protection against live electrical conductors up to 100 V = (DC).
- This product can be used for all arc welding methods such as MMA, MIG/MAG, TIG, plasma, micro, spot and gas welding as well as plasma and flame cutting, gouging, soldering and thermal arc spraying.
- Because the applications differ, the user is responsible for determining the right product for each application.
Reasonably foreseeable misuse- Never place on a hot surface.
- The welder’s head protection does not offer protection against impact hazards.
- A welder’s head protection does not offer protection against explosive substances or corrosive liquids.
- Do not submerge under water.
- Do not use if the welder’s head protection is contaminated with combustible materials.
- Do not use in rooms with elevated atmospheric oxygen.
- Electrical protection is reduced when clothes are wet, dirty or soaked in sweat.
