A two-component adhesive (2C adhesive) consists of two components (resin and hardener). Mixing these components causes a chemical reaction that produces a durable, stable and resilient connection.

3M™ Scotch-Weld™ 2-component epoxy-resin-based assembly adhesive DP 100 plus withstands high dynamic loads. Very short working time means the joined parts can be subjected to a load after a very short time.

Dosing, mixing and application in a single step – for consistent, defined quality. Withstands high dynamic loads. 3M™ Scotch-Weld™ DP 100 plus is suitable for bonding a wide variety of materials in many applications. DP 100 plus bonds metals such as aluminium and steel, fibre composites, plastics such as ABS, PC, PMMA and PVC, as well as glass, ceramics and wood. Very good flow properties. DP 100 plus offers high shear, peel and impact resistance as well as good flexibility. Thanks to these properties, the product is suitable for applications in the automotive and automotive supply industries, special-purpose vehicle construction, metalworking and metal processing and the manufacture of sports equipment.

3M™ Scotch-Weld™ DP 100 plus is a slightly flexible 2-component epoxy-resin-based adhesive with a 1:1 mixing ratio. Touch dry after 20 minutes – cures at room temperature after 48 hours. Epoxy resin adhesives Epoxy-resin-based assembly adhesives achieve high tensile shear strengths of at least 10 MPa – even under difficult conditions. Epoxy resin adhesives are liquid reactive polymers that undergo a chemical reaction when mixed and cure to form a solid plastic. The chemical reaction takes place in the static mixer – both components are optimally mixed. The working time starts now and the curing process begins.

Application:

Use manual application gun No. 083373 size PISTOLE together with delivery piston No. 083375 size KOLBEN3 and mixing tubes No. 083383 size MIXER.
