What’s more, digital measurement processes are also faster and more accurate than their conventional counterparts thanks to their automated design and supplementary features. Electronic torque wrenches and torque analysers underpin this concept. By using both tools together, you can leverage the full benefits available to you and take your measurement processes to the next level.
HCT stands for Hoffmann Group Connected Tools and is a platform for digitalising your measurement processes. HCT uses state-of-the-art Bluetooth®-enabled tools and innovative apps to automatically transfer measurement data to smartphones, tablets and computers, meaning you can work faster, more effectively, and more accurately than before.
The electronic torque analyser HCT provides a wealth of benefits
- Versatile: suitable for use with conventional mechanical or digital torque wrenches and torque screwdrivers from a wide range of brands or together with HCT torque wrenches.
- For clockwise and anti-clockwise tools: for setting and testing triggering, indicating, clockwise and anti-clockwise torque wrenches and torque screwdrivers
- Easy to use: the analyser is simple and intuitive to use
- Better quality: the data is checked and evaluated automatically, preventing errors in the measurement process
- Efficient: measurements can be taken faster and more reliably
- Release tools quickly: blocked HCT torque wrenches can be released immediately with the torque analyser HCT, meaning they no longer need to be sent in.
- Can be used with existing HCT torque tools: using the device together with existing tools opens the door to additional benefits
- Always up to date: the analyser firmware can be automatically updated via Bluetooth using the HCT mobile app
Impressive features
- Display: large, high-contrast, illuminated 2.8 inch TFT display with double scale and stable viewing angle. With memory capacity display.
- Memory capacity: 1000 measurement values with time stamp (incl. date and time) and 20 configurable test cases.
- Different modes: tracking display (Track), trigger point sensing (First-Peak) and peak value display (Peak-Hold).
When used with an HCT torque wrench, 2 other modes are available: Track-HCT and Peak-Hold-HCT. The measurement values of the HCT torque wrench and the measurement values of the HCT torque analyser are displayed on the analyser display at the same time. The peak values achieved are displayed in comparison and evaluated automatically. - Data output: possible via Bluetooth or USB-C.
- Possible wireless applications:HCT Windows app and HCT mobile app. The analyser has a bi-directional interface. The analyser can also be used independently (without the app).
- Password protection: available as protection against unauthorised access to the menu (master password) and for safeguarding test cases. In addition, if a test case has been performed incorrectly, you can set that any further work requires the input of a password.
- Warning signals: visual (change of colour on the display) and acoustic (buzzer). The pre-warning point can be configured individually. The acoustic warning signal can be disabled if desired.
