SIMPLEX sledge hammer, TPE-soft / rubber composition; with cast iron housing and Hickory handle , D=80 mm

The SIMPLEX Series 3012 features the popular combination of TPE-soft and rubber compounds. The blue TPE soft insert (series 3201) is the softest insert in the SIMPLEX series, providing strong cushioning and making it suitable for sensitive work. Unlike conventional rubber mallets, it does not leave any unwanted black abrasion marks.
The medium-hard rubber insert (series 3202) is very wear-resistant, shock-absorbing and odourless, and lasts many times longer than a conventional rubber mallet.
The malleable cast iron housing has an integrated handle protection sleeve, which ensures high break resistance.
The long-fibre, very stable hickory handle is varnished and ergonomically shaped.
In accordance with the clever SIMPLEX principle, all components are interchangeable and can be retrofitted. This not only saves money, but also resources.
This sledgehammer is available in D80mm with a total weight of 3,205g and a total length of 80cm, as well as a sledgehammer with rubber insert and stand (item no. 3012.281).
