Description

Description:

Use Scotch-Brite™ Surface Conditioning Roll for effective deburring, blending and finishing a variety of substrates. Our versatile conditioning rolls can also be used for light grinding. These all-purpose conditioning rolls offer all the advantages of Scotch-Brite™ products, including non- woven abrasive technology and a consistent cut. They come in a choice of aluminium oxide or silicon carbide mineral, and a range of grades from super fine (SFN) to coarse (CRS). Super fine grades cut less aggressively for a finer finish, while coarse grades cut more aggressively for a coarser finish. There is a grade to suit every task within the range. Scotch-Brite™ abrasives are unique, using non-woven technology where abrasive mineral is interspersed on synthetic fibres, using resin. This creates an open web construction. The spaces between the fibres allow excess material to escape to prevent the mineral from being worn down by debris. This keeps the mineral cutting sharper for longer, enhancing cut performance and increasing abrasive service life. The spring-like nature of the fibres works well on contours and responds to subtleties on the surface. Its responsive design effectively removes unwanted burrs, soils and contaminants without ruining the base material, so you get a consistent and uniform finish, part after part.

Advantage:

  • Available in a variety of sizes and grades to meet various project requirements
  • Color coded by grade to reduce risk for error
  • Works well on metal, plastics and composites
  • Open web resists loading, contributing to longer abrasive service life
  • Achieves decorative finishes on metal, wood, and composites

Recommendation:

  • Use for cleaning, polishing and finishing
