Description:
Particularly aggressive brushing effect for heavy-duty brushing. With plastic-bonded brushes, the filament material is bonded in an elastic plastic mass. In comparison to non-plastic-bonded brushes, the brushing effect is considerably more aggressive with limited flexibility. Brushes with encapsulated steel wire are available in different versions. The hardness determines the applicable brushing effect.
Feature:
- RPM, max.: 13000 RPM
- RPM, optimum, from: 6500 RPM
- RPM, optimum, to: 9800 RPM
- Mounting system: Shank
- Dia. cup: 29 mm
- Dia. filament material: 0.35 mm
- Dia. external, metric: 30 mm
- Dia. shank, metric: 6 mm
- Filament material: Steel wire (ST)

Advantage:
- Focused working thanks to high dimensional stability.
- Maximum tool life as premature wire breakage is prevented.
Application:
- Recommendations for use: Please observe the recommended rotational speeds. For the best results, use a tool drive with a minimum output of 300 watts. Use face-down for a particularly intensive brushing effect.
- Applications: Cleaning; Deburring; Derusting; Descaling; Removing oxide layers; Paint stripping; Root seam processing; Work on weld seams; Work on fillet welds
- Drive types: Flexible shaft drive; Power drill; Straight grinder
Material:
- Materials that can be worked:
- Cast iron
- Cast steel
- Steel, cast steel
- Steel materials with a hardness > 54 HRC
- Steels up to 1,200 N/mm² (< 38 HRC)
- Materials that can be worked: Cast iron; Cast steel; Steel, cast steel; Steel materials with a hardness > 54 HRC; Steels up to 1,200 N/mm² (< 38 HRC)
Suitable for:
For best performance, use tool drive with at least 300 watts.
Use on the front side for a particularly intensive brushing effect.
Note:
- When clamping the brush, ensure that the shank is clamped as far into the arbor as possible. This applies in particular for use in the high rotational speed range. The minimum clamping length is 10 mm.
