Hoffmann acquires long-standing partner companies Gödde, Oltrogge and Perschmann

After more than 30 years of successful cooperation as partners within the Hoffmann Group, Hoffmann acquires the three companies Gödde (based in Cologne), Oltrogge Werkzeuge GmbH (based in Bielefeld) and Perschmann (based in Braunschweig), as well as the affiliated companies Gödde SRL in Belgium and Perschmann Sp.zo.o in Poland. The purchase agreements were signed on 9 December 2025, and the purchase is expected to be completed in the first quarter of 2026, subject to approval by the competition authorities.

  • Acquisition of five partner companies strengthens market leadership position in Europe in the tool trade for industrial production.
  • Reduced complexity by eliminating a trading level and consistently strengthening customer focus.
  • Taking over approximately 450 employees from Gödde, Oltrogge and Perschmann.

Hoffmann Group sets new standards in the field of ISO turning with its GARANT indexable inserts

The family of HB70 grades was specially developed for efficient steel machining – with finely tuned grades for different machining and cutting conditions. The family has been continuously improved and has now been optimised further with this second generation.

  • Further development of the existing GARANT HB70 indexable insert series for precise machining of all common steel materials

At the end of 2024, Hoffmann SE once again underwent a sustainability assessment by EcoVadis and was able to defend its silver medal by increasing its points score.
