FAQ / Troubleshooting

1. The HCT device will not connect with APP.
The chosen Bluetooth connection type does not match the requirement for connection.
Please choose the defined Bluetooth connection type to connect with HCT App. Please choose “simple” connection mode to connect with HCT App.

2. The HCT device will not connect with APP.
The device is still connected to a different master.
Reset the device to ensure the new desired connection.

3. App is not running smoothly.
Other mobile processes are interacting with the App.
Please end the app and re-start it.

4. Suddenly I lost the connection to the device.
Distance between device and mobile too big.
Ensure smaller distance.

5. Suddenly I lost the connection to the device.
Battery low, device without function any more.
Change battery / recharge device.

6. Suddenly I lost the connection to the device. The chosen Bluetooth connection type does not match the requirement for connection.
Please choose the defined Bluetooth connection type to connect with PC / MAC.
Please choose “HID” connection mode to connect with HCT App.

7. Suddenly I lost the connection to the device.
The HCT device is not turned on. / The battery of the HCT device is running low. / The Bluetooth connection within the device is deactivated.
Turn on HCT device. Check energy level of batterie, if needed, exchange the batterie.
Make sure, Bluetooth connection in activated.

8. The HCT Tool won’t connect to the PC / MAC.
Android: please make sure you allowed using you position when app is used.
Enable Android to use current location when using the HCT App.

9. The app will not find any devices.
Bluetooth is not activated on computer (PC/MAC).
Turn on Bluetooth on computer (PC/MAC)

10. The history file cannot be send to my email address.
Make sure your mobile device is connected to the internet.
Turn on connection mode.

11. The history file cannot be send to my email address.
Make sure, you are able to send emails in general.
Check possibility to send out emails, log on to your email account.
