Create tasks

Within Connected Manufacturing you can add any number of tasks to a component. Here we distinguish between manual and mechanical task.
With a manual task, you can, for example, assign a production worker an order to provide raw material.
With a mechanical work operation a machine can be assigned, NC Files deposited, Accessories added, etc.

• Go to Orders
• Open the respective order
• Select the Workpiece that you want to add a task to
• Click the button Create New in the Tasks section
• The Create Task window will open now
• Enter the Task name and select Manual or Machining
• On which machine a task will be executed will usually be specified by the CAM programmer. They will also know if additional accessories are needed and can add the necessary NC Files.
• By hitting Create you have successfully created your first task
• With Create New you can add additional tasks to the workpiece
