Add NC Files to a task
Within Connected Manufacturing you can add suitable NC Files to a workpiece that has a mechanical task assigned to it. In addition, you can specify here, which machine should manufacture the component, as well as any additional accessories needed (If they are being managed by Connected Manufacturing).
- Go to Orders
- Open the respective order
- Select the workpiece and within the task that you want to add a NC File to, click the button + NC File
- The Edit tasks window will open now
- Optionally, you can specify a machine to run the task (if it has been created within Connected Manufacturing)
- With browse or “Drag & Drop” you can choose a suitable NC file
- Here you can specify the Accessory Category as well as the respective Accessory type
- By hitting Save the NC Files will be assigned to the Work Operation and stored within the software
Info: Within the respective task there is a new symbol in the tab Picklist – Show. By clicking Show you can open and view the Picklist. As long as the task has not been run, you can edit or delete it by clicking the three-dots icon.
