Description:
The CarbonCut milling cutter convinces in stationary use with optimal results in carbon machining: fibre tears, fibre protrusions or not completely cut fibres and also burnt resin are a thing of the past. A perfect surface and first-class edges on the workpiece characterise the CarbonCut with its sharp cutting edges. But the Carbon-Cut not only shows its potential in carbon machining, it can also be used for machining other composite materials from lightweight construction technology such as GRP (glass fibre reinforced plastics), composites (layered constructions, honeycomb structures/honeycombs) and aluminium structures. In addition, it convinces with an excellent tool life thanks to a coating optimised for these applications. It offers excellent wear protection and enables the tool to withstand extremely high thermal and mechanical loads without major impairments in use, which brings many advantages, especially in stationary use (e.g. fewer changes/less downtimes).
