Cloth rings are used for pre-polishing and high-gloss polishing with polishing pastes. If the intention is to achieve very smooth surface finishes, use several or even all variants successively. ST (sisal cloth) version for coarse pre-polishing.

Version ST cloth rings achieve their best performance at a recommended cutting speed of 10–15 m/s.
