At the Hoffmann Group’s in-house exhibition “World of Tools 2024” from 18th to 20th June 2024, the focus will be on the issues of efficient production, digitalisation and automation. Over 115 exhibitors from well-known brands will gather in Nuremberg to present their product highlights and innovations in the fields of machining, manual and measurement tools, personal protective equipment, workstations and storage, and automation and digitalisation. In a world premiere, the Hoffmann Group itself will be presenting a new automated loading system for milling machines to a wide audience. There will also be tools and products from the GARANT and HOLEX brands, covering almost the entire range.

For some time now, there have been increasing signs that many manufacturing companies in the metal processing industry are facing structural change. One of the driving forces is demographics, and the associated shortage of qualified staff, which is hitting small companies particularly hard. Faced with this tough environment, an increasing number of companies are being forced to make their production more efficient, upgrade to digital solutions, and automate their procurement and production processes. For small and medium-sized companies, there is also an attractive additional type of business: series production.

“The market is changing and throwing up new challenges for businesses”, says Borries Schüler, Head of Product Management and Engineering at Hoffmann SE. “To support them, we have moved into the development of digital products and automated loading systems and, at “World of Tools” in Nuremberg, we are providing a central forum for all the key issues that will shape the future of machining.”

Intended to be an information hub, in addition to the exhibition and the opportunity to seek advice on the stands, World of Tools 2024 will include seminars and expert presentations, in which visitors can acquire more in-depth knowledge of relevant issues.

With prior registration, it will also be possible to have a tour of Europe’s most modern tool logistics centre – “LogisticCity”. World of Tools 2024 will be held at the LogisticCity site, which serves as the Hoffmann Group's global central warehouse. LogisticCity is highly automated and, with its final expansion stage, can handle up to 40,000 packages per day.
