Start, Pause and Finish a task

Within Connected Manufacturing, you can change the status of tasks whereby everyone can see the current status within production. You can finish manual tasks, as well as start, pause, or finish mechanical tasks assigned to machines.

Manual tasks

  • Go to Orders
  • Open the respective order
  • Select the workpiece that you want to edit the status of
  • Within the respective task, you can finish that it via the three-dot icon, whereby the status is changed

Mechanical tasks

  • Go to Infrastructure
  • Select the respective machine under Machines on which you want to change the status
  • Under Production tasks all planned tasks for this machine are displayed
  • By hitting the three-dot icon, you can Set in Progress
  • The current task is visible. On the upper right-hand side, you can Set as paused
  • By hitting the three-dot icon, you can continue a task that has been paused, or Complete task
