Description

Description:

Thanks to the hooked fabric holding system, assembly aids are a thing of the past. This abrasive disc is self-fixing. It has a hook-and-loop backing, while the corresponding carriers are equipped with hooked fabric. The tool is held securely in position despite the quick assembly, and there is no unnecessary packaging waste as in the case of adhesive holding systems, for example. The abrasive disc is suitable for machining both straight and concave surfaces. The compact grain of the abrasive disc consists of many small grinding particles that have been bonded together to form a large agglomerate, so that the abrasive grain remains anchored in the tool for longer. Grinding is carried out quickly, without excessive force and with fewer tool changes than with ordinary abrasive materials. In addition, with this abrasive disc the surface temperature remains low and the abrasive surface does not become clogged thanks to the open distribution of the compact grain – even with difficult materials, allowing larger areas to be machined easily. Abrasive discs that have not been completely worn down during machining can be removed and reused another time.

Advantage:

With compact grain, many small grinding particles are bonded together to form a large agglomerate so that the abrasive grains remain anchored in the tool for longer and the tool does not clog up. This allows the desired surface result to be achieved more quickly.
Thanks to the hooked fabric holding system, assembly aids are a thing of the past. The tool is held securely in position despite the quick assembly, and there is no unnecessary packaging waste as in the case of adhesive holding systems, for example.
Thanks to the multi-layer coating, this tool is always as sharp as at the first time of use. When the top flaps wear down, the fresh abrasive coating of the flaps underneath is exposed. In this way, they achieve a long service life and consistent working quality.
The flat position of the optimally bonded flaps not only makes for safer working, but also cuts down the tool wear. The abrasive grain adheres particularly firmly to its backing and is optimally used. A particularly large concentration of abrasive grains on the outer perimeter results in an exceptionally high removal rate per minute. Outstanding removal rates are guaranteed.
A high-quality resin system prevents this tool from rupturing at high speeds or working temperatures. In addition, we pay attention to environmental conservation during the production and use start-of-the-art technologies with short curing times.
Thanks to the self-sharpening effect of the zirconia alumina, combined with the extreme hardness and sharpness of the abrasive grain, this tool achieves high removal rates and a long service life, especially with hard and tough materials such as stainless steel.
