Description

Description:

With drive spindle extensions, shanks of grinding and milling tools can be extended. They allow access to difficult-to-reach areas and are clamped into the collet of the machine (air or electric grinder) or into the flexible shaft handpiece. Drive spindle extensions are a cost-effective alternative to special made-to-order burrs and mounted points with long shanks. Extension for drive spindles with a working length of approx. 100 mm, a tool mounting of 1/4″ and a shank holder of 3/8″. Recommended extension for drives with a maximum rotational speed of 20,000 RPM. 1 key DM SW 9/11 mm, 1 key STS D 3 mm and 1 collet 1/4″.

Feature:

  • RPM, max.: 20000 RPM
  • Collet group: 10
  • Incl. dia collet [mm]: 1/4
  • Net weight: 0.1 kg
  • Dia. shank holder [mm]: 3/8

Note:

  • Caution! When using spindle extensions, please observe the valid safety regulations and accident prevention regulations. When working with long shank lengths, it is vital that the tool is inserted into the workpiece (e.g. bores, pipes, ducts or keyways) before the drive system is switched on. The extension must not run freely with the tool outside the workpiece. If this rule is not observed, the risk of accidents is increased. In unfavourable conditions, the extension with the tool clamped in it may buckle.
  • The extension is only intended for manual use in connection with suitable air grinders, electric grinders or flexible shaft handpieces for tools with standard shanks. The extension and a tool permitted for use at the appropriate rotational speed are clamped into an impact-free collet on the device. Do not clamp on the transition radius. Clamping of a second extension or of tools with excessively long shanks is not permitted.
  • The maximum permitted rotational speed is 20,000 RPM.
