The specific data collected can be seen in the respective entry forms. We use the data you provide us to execute your orders and process your requests. Once the order is completed or your customer account is deleted, your data will be blocked for further use and deleted after expiry of the fiscal and commercial retention periods, unless you have expressly consented to the further use of your data or we reserve the right to use your data beyond this scope, which is legally permitted and about which we inform you below. You can request the deletion of your customer account at any time by sending us a message using the contact details provided below or by using the corresponding function in the customer account.
For what purposes does Hoffmann use my data?

How does Hoffmann use my data when I subscribe to the email newsletter?

We use so-called cookies on various pages of our website to make visiting it a more attractive experience and to facilitate the use of certain functions. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your terminal device. Some cookies we use are automatically deleted at the end of the browser session, i.e. once you close your browser (session cookies). Other cookies remain on your terminal device and enable us to recognise your computer the next time you visit our website (permanent cookies). You can configure your browser in such a way that you are informed about the placement of cookies and can decide to accept them on a case-by-case basis or to reject cookies in specific cases or in general. The rejection of cookies may limit the functions of our website.
For what purpose does Hoffmann use the econda web analytics service?
This website uses technologies of econda GmbH (www.econda.de) to collect and store data that is used to create pseudonymised user profiles. These user profiles serve to analyse user behaviour and are evaluated to improve and customise our services. This may be done by employing cookies. Cookies are small text files that are stored locally on the user’s terminal device, making it possible to recognise it the next time the user visits our website. The pseudonymised user profiles will not be linked to the personal data of the pseudonym owner without separate express consent. You can object to the collection and storage of data at any time with effect for the future by clicking on the link below: http://www.econda.de/econda/unternehmen/datenschutz/widerspruchscookie/.
After your objection, an opt-out cookie is placed on your terminal device. If you delete your cookies, you will have to click on the link again.
How does Hoffmann use AddThis plugins (e.g. “Share” button)?
Our website uses social plugins (“plugins”) of the bookmarking service AddThis, which is operated by AddThis LLC, Inc. 8000 Westpark Drive, Suite 625, McLean, VA 2210, USA (“AddThis”). The plugins are usually marked with an AddThis logo, for example in the form of a white plus sign on an orange background. You can find an overview of the AddThis plugins and their appearance here: https://www.addthis.com/get/sharing/.
When you access a page of our website that contains such a plugin, your browser establishes a direct connection with the AddThis servers. The content of the plugin is transferred by AddThis directly to your browser and integrated into the website. By integrating the plugin, AddThis receives the information that your browser has accessed the corresponding page of our website and places a cookie on your terminal device to identify your browser. This information (including your IP address) is transmitted from your browser directly to an AddThis server in the USA and stored there. AddThis uses the data to create anonymised user profiles that serve as a basis for personalised and interest-based advertising to users of web pages containing AddThis plugins.
If you wish to object to the data collection by AddThis with effect for the future, you can set a so-called opt-out cookie, which you can download using the following link: http://www.addthis.com/privacy/opt-out AddThis plugins can also be blocked using browser add-ons, e.g. the script blocker “NoScript” (http://noscript.net/).
Will I receive an email reminder to give a feedback rating?
Provided that you have given your express consent during or after placement of your order by activating the corresponding checkbox or by clicking on the corresponding button, we use your email address to remind you to give a feedback rating for your order via the feedback system we use. You can revoke your consent at any time by sending us a message using the contact details provided below.
