Description:
Poliflex fine grinding tools are manufactured with high shape accuracy, outstandingly consistent quality and tight dimensional tolerances. They are ideally suited to fine grinding, structuring and preparations for polishing work, and are very frequently used for tool and mould-making applications. For fine face-down grinding on large surfaces. Poliflex fine grinding tools with the PUR bond are manufactured with green silicon carbide (SiC). The PUR bond is a very soft bond which is available in two hardness grades (PUR-W, PUR-MH). It is homogeneously interspersed with abrasive grain.
Feature:
- RPM, max.: 5300 RPM
- RPM, optimum: 2400 RPM
- Version: medium-hard
- Width, metric: 14 mm
- Dia. hole: 22.23 mm
- Abrasive: Silicon carbide SiC/C
- Dia. external, metric: 115 mm
- Grit size: 150
- Bond: PUR-MH
Advantage:
- Cool and very gentle grinding thanks to open structure and elastic bond.
- Produces a fine, matt surface finish.
- Produces very good surface quality.
- High economic efficiency thanks to long tool life and high stock removal rate.
- Maximum working convenience through precise concentricity.
Application:
- Recommendations for use: Depending on the intended use, profile using a dressing diamond or ceramic dressing stone at a low rotational speed. For the best results, use at a recommended cutting speed of 10-15 m/s. Preferably for use on slow-running angle grinders.
- Applications: Step-by-step fine grinding; Structuring (matt finishing, brush matting and satin finishing)
- Drive types: Angle grinder; Cordless angle grinder
Material:
- Materials that can be worked:
- Aluminium
- Brass
- Cast steel
- Copper
- Hardened, heat-treated steels over 1.200 N/mm² (< 38 HRC)
- Stainless steel (INOX)
- Steel materials with a hardness > 54 HRC
- Steels up to 1,200 N/mm² (< 38 HRC)
- Zinc
- Materials that can be worked: Aluminium; Brass; Cast steel; Copper; Hardened, heat-treated steels over 1.200 N/mm² (< 38 HRC); Stainless steel (INOX); Steel materials with a hardness > 54 HRC; Steels up to 1,200 N/mm² (< 38 HRC); Zinc
Suitable for:
Use preferably on low-speed angle grinders.
Note:
- For safety reasons, the maximum permitted rotational speed indicated must never be exceeded.
- The clamping length of the shank has to be at least 10 mm.
