The 3M™ ENVISION™ Translucent Colour Film Series 3730 is the first to be specifically optimized for use with LED illuminants. Their increased light transmission takes account of the greatly improved homogeneity of the light distribution compared to classic fluorescent tube or Neon lighting in LED lamps. The lower luminance losses compared to conventional translucent color foils (e.g. 3M™ Scotchcal™ Translucent Colour Foil Series 3660) enable savings in the number of illuminants - resulting in energy savings and reduced operating costs.
