The new GARANT aluminium stepladders impress with added ergonomics and safety. The Hoffmann Group presents its first ESD-proof GARANT Workstation at LogiMAT 2016 and demonstrates how EPA protection zones (Electrostatic Protection Area) should be set up in order to reliably shield sensitive components from electrostatic discharges. The new GARANT Workstation for protecting against ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) is ESD powder-coated and conductive in accordance with DIN EN 61340-5-1. Electrostatic discharges are conducted from the work surface to a grounding cable on the underside of the worktop. This means that the workstation always remains charge-neutral. At LogiMAT 2016 the Hoffmann Group is located in hall 5, stand 5D55.
