Version:
The 4-jaw manual chuck combines the advantages and functions of 2-, 3- and 4-jaw chucks and is extremely flexible for use on lathes, milling machines and milling-turning centres. The opposing jaw pairs are connected using a drive ring system, meaning the workpieces are centrally clamped and a pivot mechanism prevents them from being over-defined. A compensating mechanism also enables thin-walled workpieces to be clamped centrally. For stationary applications, the clamping set-up must be provided using console (base) or adapter plates.
- Clamping of round and cubic workpieces and workpieces with an awkward geometric shape.
- Sealed design – thus also suitable for castings and forgings.
- Visual indicator pin for ensuring process reliability when clamping the component.
- Can also be used as a 2-jaw chuck.
Supplied with:
T-nuts/fastening screws and clamping wrench.
Note:
Clamping jaws are not included. Available on request.
