Product Manager UK

In order to strengthen our team in Birmingham, UK as of now, we are looking for a professionally and personally convincing Product Manager UK (f/m/x):


Your duties and responsibilities:

Define and implement, in close cooperation with Sales, the Product Strategy for UK market
Build-up, lead and manage the Hoffmann UK Product Management  
Contribute to European Product Management Strategy and keep a close network with the Global Product Management Team
Manage and establish strategic relationships with associations, customers, suppliers and other stakeholders
Contribute to the Hoffmann UK Strategy
Establish methods for strategic market analyses (industry trends, competitions, pricing,…)
Build-up a Product Portfolio and Pricing strategy for the UK market in alignment with Sales and Marketing department
Define Product requirements and develop new products together with Global PM team
Implement a launch process for new product introductions
Build-up product training concepts to secure continues knowledge build up within the organization (Sales, Operations, Marketing,…)
Establish and implement processes for non-catalogue items
Work closely with Sales and Marketing department for product communication & promotions
Build-up a technical support structure and processes for sales (inside, outside, ATs, MTs,…)
Screen market for new potential supplier fitting to the product portfolio strategy
Keep close relationships to manufacturer brands
Support Global Product Management Organization in negotiating supplier contracts
 

Your personal qualification requirements:

Product management-specific professional or equivalent qualification
Ideally experience in sourcing products from cutting tool industry
Additionally required is a highly distinct service orientation as well as professional approach to the related issues and a highly professional appearance
Strong negotiation skills
Good understanding of financials
Language skills and very good skills with MS Office required
Great self- and project management capabilities
Great organizational skills for the efficient utilization of resources, in view of the appropriate costs and effort
Potential leadership skills
Motivated and energetic personality, reliable professional cooperation skills towards internal and external customers, target oriented
Enthusiasm in working with people, sophisticated motivation skills, high customer orientation
