EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) is the computer-to-computer exchange of business documents in an electronic standard format, without any human intervention required.

The manual management of order confirmations, delivery notes, invoices and other paper documents has a substantial impact on day-to-day work processes within purchasing and administration. Thanks to EDI, once you have sent your order straight from your materials management system or eProcurement platform, your company can receive all applicable documents (for example invoices) directly in electronic form in your system and manage them.
