Version:

High performance end torus cutter with special centre cutting teeth for high feed rates for high-speed traverse milling..
Considerable time savings when side milling (ae = 0,6×D) and slot milling (ap = 1×D) due to the use of centre cutting teeth geometry for high feed rates in combination with the usual main cutting edges.
For high feed rate transverse milling (with only the centre cutting teeth in use) the dimension ap max determines the number of passes (see table).
With finishing main cutting edge.
Tolerance: Size nominal ⌀ Dc = 0 / − 0.04 mm.

Application:

For copy and traverse milling over the full range of machining under HPC / HSC conditions. Special milling strategies enable high metal removal rates.

Note:

ap max − must be strictly complied with when machining at high feed rates.
